Brian and I were frequent rope mates on an ascent of some mountain. One in the Arthurs Pass area was Mt Franklin. On that trip he lost his wrist watch which he realized when we got to the summit. Descending, I was careful to locate our last rest stop at a prominent rock and there was his watch with a broken wrist band. Fond memories. My best support to Barbara. I Jeanette and my family have the fondest of memories of times spent with a kind and sharing Brian in his home , in our home, trips away together , chatting and sharing life's experiences. Brian always happy to share his knowledge which enriched our lives and gave us pleasure . Brian will be sadly missed and remembered as a wonderful Father , Husband and grandfather and I extend to all of his wonderful family our deepest sympathy for their great loss. Love and great blessings Jeanette
