BURNS, Brian Downes:
Passed away peacefully at the fine age of 94 years, on Thursday, December 14, 2017, with family by his side at Monte Vista in Taupo. Dearly beloved husband of the late Dorothy Burns. Cherished father and friend to Chris, Don and Tony. Loved father-in-law to Peter and Victoria. Adored Grandad to Bonnee, Kiri, Tiffany, Jacob, Olivia and James. Great-grandfather to Lucie, Leah, Charlie, Haddy, Rachel, Judah, Hudson, Waylon, Maple, and Jimmy. Beloved friend to many. A service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 88 Acacia Bay Road, Taupo, on Wednesday, December 20, at 10.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia Canterbury, PO Box 32074, Christchurch 8147 would be appreciated or may be left at the service. Communications with Brian's family can be sent to PO Box 940, Taupo.
