Sad to hear, Brent was my art and homeroom teacher at Oxford. While I never pursued art after year 9/10 he was always a kind teacher, happy to speak to any student.

Dear Brent's family,
I will always remember Brent with a great fondness, he was my art teach during my years at Oxford. He was the sort of teacher that all teachers should aspire to be like. He was kind, and he always encouraged and nurtured our creativity, even though I am certain we surely tested his patience on more than a number of occasions. I have no doubts that he was - is even now, an inspiration to many aspiring artists who were lucky enough to have him as their teacher. I will remember him whenever I pick up a pencil to draw, or a brush to paint. My deepest condolences.
