HORTON, Blue:
3.12.1954 - 7.2.2021
With deep sadness we advise that Blue passed away at home, following the shock diagnosis of an aggressive illness. He was surrounded by his loving family, knowing he was loved and would be sorely missed. Beloved husband and best friend of Loretta, adored Dad to Jess McAlinden and Alice Lammas, loved father-in-law to Kris and Kerry, treasured Grandad to Lachlan, Hamish, and Ruby. Loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and cherished friend of many. His funeral will take place at 1.00pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 at East Takaka Hall in Golden Bay. In lieu of flowers, Blue suggested donations to the New Zealand Flying Doctors Service of whom he was most appreciative.
