Blake DAY Obituary

On May 3, 2024, Blakey passed away at the Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice, Sydney, Australia, aged 22 years. Much loved son of Penny and Charles, and Brett and Jemma, loved brother and brother-in-law of Dylan and Mia, Alex, Jack, Lilly, Cole, and Archie, and Blake's "person" Jasmine. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Blake Day, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice would be appreciated and may be made directly online at northfoundation.org.au/ayah. The service to celebrate Blake's life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Thursday, May 16 at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.

To the lovely Day family and Blakes special friends, The farewell yesterday was a beautiful tribute to a much loved Blake. Hard not to cry as we felt your pain and loss listening to you bravely share. Out thoughts and prayers are with you all. On May 3, 2024 it was with much sadness the passing of our beloved Blakey taken from us all way too soon. Dearly loved son of Brett and Jem, loved brother of Dylan, Lilly and Archie, much loved Grandson of Linda and Graham, loved nephew of Tracey and Daniel, and will be missed by his loving cousins Holly, Sam, Riley, Sonny, Rocco and Kash. Thank you Jasmine for being his J-Man till the end.
