Beverly BEATTIE Obituary

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Beverly Mavis Beattie (nee Rive), aged 89, of Nelson, who passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Beloved wife of Alan Orton Beattie (deceased). Daughter of Cedric and Mavis Rive, sister to Bryan, Elaine and Graeme, loved Auntie of many. Mother and mother-in-law of Nicola and Chris, Sarah and Zane, Tim and Andrew (deceased) and Jeremy. Grandmother of Emma, Chevaun, Cameron, Daniel, and especially loved by her great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Bev's life will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 1.00pm at Nelson Cathedral, 1 Trafalgar Square, Nelson. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cancer Society Nelson or Christchurch, are appreciated. Messages to C/- C & L Bary, 3 Bills Drive, Bishopdale, Nelson.

I am so sorry for your loss..Bev & l attended yoga together at NN Cancer Society & always had coffee afterwards..she was an inspiration to all of us..l saw Bev in March when l had dinner with before lmoving to Auckland..l will
remember Bev as an immaculate beautiful lady..RIP
