A private family service was held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in Christchurch. Beverley was the dearly loved wife of the late Lowrie Arthur Cottrell and John Douglas (Doug) McILraith. Much loved mother of Simon, Jason, Matthew, Nicholas and Louisa, and loved grandma of Georgia. Nicholas was the much loved son of Doug and Beverley, brother of Simon, Jason, Matthew and Louisa, and uncle of Georgia. The family wishes to thank all who supported them through this difficult time.

My dad and Lowrie were best friends at school. Beverley was my godmother. We were so sad to hear of the deaths of Bev and Nick. Much love to the family from Ian and Yvonne Munro and family in Auckland. xx
