To my 5 Nieces/Nephews,, I am simply gutted for You All.
When Bev first came into my life, I was 18yrs old and that young woman was as if a Sister to me rather than a Sis-in-law,,, she so very easy going and amicable., and living just across the St, we saw one another on a near daily basis.
Once Maree came.along,.I near lived at "192" and then Philip joined the family and I was then near the end of my nursing training and had decided upon completion I was going abroad.
I well knew that decision was going to be hard,.as not only were you 2 babes my only "heart throb" Nieces/Nephews.
I was in Turkey when You, Antony arrived and so missed your baby times,.and I in Northern Manitoba Canada when you Caroline joined the older 3.
I then married and lived in Canada,.had a couple of my own babes and You Mike were born just mths after our 2nd and we did not get to meet You until your were nearing 3.
So yes,.I did miss out on a lot with your growing up,,,,.sadly.
THANKFUL I am,.that Mumma Bev was the wonderful person and EXTRA special MUM you all had.
We are very sorry not being able to be present with YOU ALL,,.but rest assured, we are present in NOW and ALWAYS.
