Ronald Hosler Obituary

With the love of his family, Ron passed away peacefully at the Freeport Site of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 35 years to Gail Olsen. Loving stepfather of Becky (Dave) DeCator and Samantha (Michael) Roszell. Cherished grandpa to Sophie DeCator and Iris Roszell. Dear brother of Laurel (Joe) Halliwushka, and brother-in-law to Cathy Hosler. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Iris Hosler and his brother Barry. Ron worked for many years as a Computer Technician at Honeywell, Fields Institute and retired from University of Waterloo. A special thank you to the staff at both K-W and Freeport Sites of the Grand River Hospital. Ron's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Interment in Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
