I fondly remember Betty from my days in Severn Street. She babysat our children and would always arrive with an apple and a treat. The children adored her and so did we.
Thinking of you all at this time.

To Frances,Rodney John and families. Peter told me of Betty`s passing yesterday evening. We went for a journey down memory lane. Your parents are remembered by my family in a loving and respectful way. Betty`s great friendship our mother will be cherished and remembered by the whole Willis Family.
I remember when you all moved to Alexandra the feeling of sadness and in our little community had to adjust to new Neighbour's -we were pleased when you all returned to Blaketown and I became your babysitter!!. I truly loved and respected Aunty Betty, Uncle Bill and the wider family so willingly shared with our family.
Bet`s relationship with the Labour party is an enduring memory for me- I wonder what she thought of recent political events.
It is with a mixture of love, sadness and respect I send this message to you -I am grateful to your family involvement in my life.
love and respect

Betty: I will never forget your kindness when I started work as a 18 year old all those years ago. You took me under your wing and helped me along my journey. The one event that stands out is when I got my drivers licence. You were so happy for me. You sent me a card and I have still got it. Thank you and rest in peace Betty liz cunningham
