I haven´t seen Benny for many years. His family arrived in Picton around 1964 and lived near us.Both Benny and Tommy were in my primer one class photo.( I can send a copy if anyone is interested) The following year Benny moved up a class and Tommy dropped back one. I had mor contact with Tommy over the years years 1795-80 as we attended Nelson polytechnic and stayed at the same boarding accommodation. I remember Benny as winning the largest hand competition held at the Terminus hotel?.. beating off a lot of what appeared to be much larger men.My mother and Bennys mum Irene were lifetime friends.Attached photo is of ( from left) Benny, myself and Tommy playing at my house about 1964-5. It saddens me that this whole family that arrived from Denmark in my childhood years have now all passed away..
kindest regards
