Benjamin JELLIE Obituary

I met Ben at St Bede´s College, Christchurch where we both boarded, and shared the occasional class. He was a true larrikin, very funny, and irreverent, but very kind.
He had this almost rock star charisma about him, and you would see the junior boys look up in admiration as he strutted through the dining hall with his massive head of hair proudly on display. My fondest memory is when a group of us spent a few days in the school infirmary recovering from flu, with Ben telling us stories that made us cry with laughter. RIP Ben your star shone bright.

Oh Ben I'm going to miss you so much, my best man the mate that I always loved. All those laughs we had together, the loved you had for my children Asha Reuben and Leon. And the much love you had for my love Alice, we were so looking forward to having you as my best man for our up and coming wedding. All my family loved you so much my loyal best friend and Alice and me are never going to forget the cherished times we had together. Love Paddy, Quinny, pads. (come visit often)

Passed away on July 26, 2022 peacefully with his family at his side. My eldest nephew Ben, life and soul of all our family functions.
Will miss you so much Benji, your smile, contagious laugh, love of life
