Dear Frank,
I'm sorry I didn't get an opportunity to have a decent chat with you at the ashes ceremony on Saturday afternoon. I intend to get in contact with you when things settle down.
I want to express how much I appreciated the memorial ceremony in your garden, as well as catching up with some of your and Belle's significant friends, neighbours and family, including Mark, Holly, Di, Annie, Ollie, et. al.
Along with Robyn and Bob, I was glad to represent Belle's friends and ex-colleagues from her Disputes Tribunal period.
I'm also very grateful for the friendship and hospitality that you and Belle have extended to me in past years, whether I was living in Christchurch, Auckland or Amberley.

It was good to remember you today at your and Frank's house, Belle. Your lovely garden, and house with the squashy comfy sofas, reminded me of the meetings we had at your house about Artists Collective matters where you inevitably would get our stray thoughts organised into some sort of order. You were a mover and shaker Belle!

Belle was such an inspiration. A kind and talented soul. I am sorry that she had to suffer in her later years. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. My heart goes out to Frank.

I am so fortunate to have known belle in her good health. A person of true generosity and amazing hospitality. I am so sorry for the suffering she and you,Frank, have endured. May you both find your peace.

I have beautiful memories, and was grateful to reconnect digitally with Belle this year and reminisce. Lots of love to Frank through this time.

Dear Frank, we are very sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. Our disbelief plunged into great sadness as we knew about Belle.
We deem ourselves fortunate to have had the chance to know such a great person.

So sorry to hear this news Frank. I always enjoyed both you and Belle's company. She was a loyal friend. We had some good times. Will be living in Dunedin so very sorry I can't be with you but will be thinking of you.

Dear Belle, how saddened I was to hear that enough was enough though I understand that there can come a time when we feel this to be true. . I know that you will be missed for your creativity, energy, and capacity to share and inspire. I am glad that I had the chance to meet you. Go well wherever that be.
