WATERLAND,
Barry Richard (Swampy):
On July 11, 2022, passed away peacefully at Bainswood on Victoria, after a short illness, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Lyne, much loved father and father-in-law of Jacqui (Oamaru), Mark and Rhonda (Palmerston North), Glenn and Hayley (USA), Daniel and his partner Maddie. Loved grandad of Zane, Tayla, Blake, and Hayden; Kate, Grace, Campbell, and Logan; Dylan, and Jade; and loved by his special fur babies Lady, and Jed.

Special thanks to all the staff at Bainswood on Victoria and Nurse Maude Palliative Care for all the wonderful care given to Barry. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Barry Waterland, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude would be appreciated and may be made online at nursemaude.org.nz/donations. A Service to Celebrate Barry's (Swampy's) life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Saturday, July 16, at 2.30pm, private cremation thereafter.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Swampy. Having worked with Swampy at NAC and Ansett NZ, I found Swampy to be a very dedicated worker and a lot of fun to work with.
