Barry John (Baz, Bazza):
Colleen, Matthew, Jacob, Michael and Johnny and their families together with Rusty, Sherryn, Glenda, Paul and Susan and their families would like to sincerely thank everyone for the beautiful flowers, baking, food, cards, gifts, and heartfelt messages we received following the loss of Barry. Thanks to all those who attended and participated in Barry's final farewell. It was how he would have wanted it. Thanks to Paul Searle from Oamaru Funeral Services for his kindness and guidance and the staff of the Oamaru Club for the food and refreshments provided following Barry's farewell. To the Management and Staff of St Kevin's College and Hostel, Laser Plumbing Canterbury East, Road Metals and Greystone Screening and Crushing – thank you all for your kindness and support shown to our family at our time of loss. Heartfelt appreciation and thanks to The Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Service and all the medical staff from Oamaru and Dunedin hospitals for their care of Baz and the support given to us all. Finally thank you to our friend Jo Walshe for all you did for us behind the scenes and for leading us through Barry's farewell. We know how difficult this was for you. You did Baz proud.
Barry was our rock, and we were so blessed to have him in our lives. We will love him and miss him forever.
