Barry MCALLISTER Obituary

McALLISTER, Barry John:
Sadly on October 26, 2018, Barry lost his determined battle to stay with the ones he loved and those who loved him. He passed away peacefully at home with his family. Dearly loved husband, best friend and soulmate of Pam for 48 years. Dearly loved father, voice of reason and friend to his children, Justine, Louise and Bryce. His grandchildren, Tanneesha, Chelsea, Shavarna, Henry, Olivia, Neco, Charlotte and Georgia adored him. Dearly loved son of Mabel McAllister and the late Hec McAllister, and loved brother of Lyn. He was respected by his sons-in-law Wayne Empson and Andrew Riches. Loved and respected by his sister-in-law Lyn and brothers-in-law Murray, Jack, and Richard. Loved uncle and friend to all his nieces and nephews. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Barry McAllister, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Palliative Care would be appreciated and can be made at the service. A Service to celebrate Barry's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, on Wednesday, October 31, at 2.00pm.
