HICKS, Barry John:
It is with much sadness the family of Barry announce his passing on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Te Anau. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Cheryl for the past 48 years. Cherished and admired father and father-in-law of Paul and Jodie, Kristi and Simon. Adored and exceptional grandad to Sam and Josh.

Messages to PO Box 43001, Darfield 7641. A Memorial Service will be held in Winton at a later date. A Service to celebrate Barry's life will be held at the Lincoln Events Centre, 15 Meijer Drive, Lincoln, This Day (Friday), September 9, at 1.00pm.

Our warehouse is missing the friendly banter, words of wisdom, laughter that was a daily activity that helped us all address the challenges of the day in Construction. 22.9.1947 — 4.9.2016
The Hicks’ sisters sadly advise the sudden and unexpected death in Te Anau of their much loved brother. Loved husband of Cheryl. Second son of the late Edna and Ossie Hicks. Brother and brother-in-law of David and Adrienne, Margaret Campbell and Myles Johnson (Te Anau), Jan and Jeff Ludemann (Te Anau), Pam Hicks and Warren Battersby (Oamaru), and Anthony. A very special uncle of Glen and Eri, Mel and Rosco, Greg and DeAnna, Sally and Glen, Nicole and Chris, Jody and Meghan, and Rebecca. Also sadly missed by all his great-nieces and nephews, and his aunts and cousins.
