Barry BOLTON Obituary

I was very sorry indeed to hear about Barry. I hadn't seen him for many years, but we were in New Zealand for a holiday in August 2024, and I met up with him at the Shirley Boys High School reunion. He had not changed a bit - full of life and enthusiasm. My wife and I joined him for a fantastic lunch in Christchurch a couple of days later. My sincere condolences to his family. Gordon Smith

My partner and I lived in Rucksacker, we had the pleasure of meeting Barry. We will always remember Barry as a very kind person with a great sense of humour and with great energy. I remember that when we were touring the hostel, he told us many things in Spanish, that was very nice. I send my condolences to the family. Thanks for everything Barry.

Forever grateful of life for meeting Barry, such a good person. Lucky me for having had the chance to share a few months with him while I stayed at Rucksacker. It wasn't a deep bond at all but I can surely remember him as the generous, hilarious, wise, and most of all kind-hearted person he was. My sincere condolences to his family, I wish them all the peace in the world. A little spark in my heart will always remember him.

Barry was a very good friend of my brother Alan and attended his wedding in Michigan. His Mum Leslie was a good friend to our Mum Eileen Parrett. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that Barry will be remembered fondly for his dry sense of humour and friendship from afar. Alan & Minh from Michigan wish to personally send condolences to Barry´s Mum Leslie and to Yuki. It was a shock to hear of his passing.

I cherish the memory of the time Cheriene and l spent with you in Sydney back in the early 80s (when l was still a biped).
