Aunty Barbara, Thankyou for all you did for me. The 3 or so months you took me in back when I was 10, I didn't have any appreciation for as I just wanted my family back together. As I got older l understood. Most of all, it was a conversation we had 10 yrs ago when I rang looking for a no for Helen. The conversation we had blew me away, because it was the only time I had known you to let your guard down & speak the truth, & you did it to help me. That stays with me always.

You were part of the heart, soul and fabric of the North Otago Museum. It was a pleasure working alongside you during my time at the museum. You will be greatly missed.

Thank you for all the help, laughs, friendship over many years. Thanks also to Jeff and Helen for sharing you with so many people. All the work you have done with genealogy is a wonderful legacy to have left for a new generation to enjoy. Fond memories of you at the maternity annexe with my babies too. RIP

Thank you for all your help and friendship over many years. I recall clearly my first Geno meeting, not knowing a soul or what I was doing there and you came up and said can I help you - and you didn't stop from that day on.
