PICKERING, Barbara Ruth
(nee Connett):
In her 97th year passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Dunedin Hospital, with her loving family beside her. Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur Elliott Pickering, cherished and adored mother and mother-in-law of Joy and Doug, Warren and Trudy, Paul, Lindy and Dave. Dearly loved grandma, great-grandma and aunty. To fulfil Barbara's final wishes, she will be cremated and have a private graveside commemoration at a later date in Christchurch. A gracious lady right to the end who kept her pride and always insisted in looking her best. Our family want to acknowledge the loving and caring support by Enliven, St John Ambulance, Dunedin Hospital ED, Wards 3 and 8 Staff, and formerly Diamond Harbour Medical Centre staff.
