Barbara HOLMES Obituary
(Civil Aviation Pilot, Southland Aero Club)
Passed on February 23, 2024 at Christchurch Hospital surrounded by family, after a short illness, aged 74 years. Wife of the late Paul Holmes. Beloved mother of Philippa, Elizabeth, Mark and Jennifer, treasured Nana to her grandchildren. Close friend and confidante, a full heart for her 'doglets'.
Will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength and beauty.
The family thank the medical staff of Ward 25. Messages may be addressed to the family of the Late Barbara Holmes c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. The celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Hope Funerals, Cafe 27, Amyes Road, Hornby on Thursday, February 29, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation.

Sincere condolences from the US. I only ever met Barbara on Facetime calls with my uncle Paul, but she was always so interesting to talk to. I regret not flying the 8,000 miles to meet her once in person!
