Barbara Jean
(formerly Cooper):
Unexpectedly at Timaru Hospital on April 20, 2017, aged 69. Loving wife and trusted mate of Peter, loved wife of the late Jim Cooper mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Lisa, Stephen and Carolyn, Greg and Maree, Ingrid and Dennis, loving grandmother of Neve, and Matthew, Anthony, and Kaitlin, Milla, and Lauren, and Nathan, loved stepmother of Trevor, and Virginia. Special thanks to Point of Care, Pleasant Point. In lieu of flowers donations to the Diabetes Society would be much appreciated and may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, April 26, at 1.00pm, in the Salisbury Park Crematorium Chapel, on Beaconsfield Road, Timaru. Messages to PO Box 579, Timaru, c/- Clarkson Family.

Saddened to hear of Barbara's sudden departure.
A friend since our first meeting many years ago.
My love, and hugs to you all,Peter, Grant , Stephen, Greg and Ingrid and families, your personal loss is huge, Barbara will take a special place in many hearts.
Thank you so much for Loving, caring and being a great friend and husband to her Peter.
I have to think that maybe there will be the odd glass raised to welcome Barbara on her next journey.

Peter, so sorry to hear that Barb has gone - she was a lovely lady, a great worker and mother and so much fun to be with . Sad that i was out when you both called in a wee while back , will be very much in our thoughts and prayers for you all especially on Wednesday ! Unfortunately cant be there for the funeral - but please give our sincere condolences to Barbs Kids esp her daughter!!
