Barb Burger Obituary

  Barbara Ann Burger, age 70, of McArthur, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio.  She was born September 4, 1953 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Donald Luther Remy and Ethel Louise Ward Remy.  Barb was a 1971 graduate of Vinton County Consolidated High School.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed working outside in the yard, shopping at Goodwill, and spending time with her family.  Barb is survived by her children, Lee Burger (Trina) and Jody Dickinson (Clint), of McArthur; siblings, Donnie Remy and Sharon Pierce; as well as 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 1 niece.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Franklin Burger.  In keeping with Barb’s wishes, no services will be held, and cremation followed her passing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
