We the Family are very sad to announce the unexpected passing of Austen, on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Loved son of Doreen and Harry, Loved brother to Linda and Marcus Davison, Philip and Vicki Spriggs, adored uncle to Rowan, Sophie, Maddi, and Harper. Your quick wit and cheeky smile will be sadly missed. We hope you find your peace. Messages for the Spriggs family may be sent to 58 Coleridge Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. Austen will be sent off in a private cremation service with close family.

I love you austen. Some of the funniest memories of my life were working alongside you. We shared food and cigarettes together at times we had nothing. We shared many good times and our stupid arguments always gave us something to laugh at each other about. You will be sorely missed and I will never stop appreciating the time I got to share with you. I know how much you loved luna and I hope you had some peace and comfort in your last moments. I miss you brother. Until the day that we meet again xo

I have known Austin since 2020 and we got very well and I am going to miss him so very very much and I am going to remember the last conversation we had on the Thursday morning for a long time I'm GA miss ya buddy
