Dearest Robert, Debra and close ones,
Heard of your very sad loss from Helen Bussell and it with heavy heart that I send this message. So many lovely happy memories of our early friendship at Heathcote Young Wives Fellowship, sharing family fun times at picnics, Lady Wigram, Daisy Cottage holidays and family gatherings at Flavell St.
Audrey's passing will leave a huge gap in all the lives she has connected with.
Fly high my good friend.

A sad moment indeed learning of Audrey's death, a loss of someone tangible in one's life now disappeared forever, time to reflect on that and cherish the value of that friendship the wisdom imparted, the vulnerability shared. the trust, the friendship, the mutual respect.
Audrey first came into my life when l designed the home for her and Bob in Heathcote Valley, a home designed around their love of firstly the beautiful location, Audreys art, and Bob'cars, a place for family and friends, but l really got to know Audrey a few years later when we were both a cross roads in our lives, and there our friendship cemented itself. She was one of the most courageous woman l ever met, there was nothing flippant about Audrey, considered and truthful, she dug deep to find her truth, despite living in a world of social expectations, especially for women of her time. Her bolt hole was her studio in the Arts Centre, where she found her solice, explored her Art, her cuttings and momentos of inspiration, many a cup of tea shared, and a deep and meaningful. Audrey was never a gossip and her family were her pride, she was reflective, sensitive and empathetic, being a little on the outside herself never had her espousing expectations, rather reflection and understanding. Dear friend you have gone but left all those you encountered wiser and thankful for knowing you. Every time l pick up the book you gave me early in our friendship, Scott Pecks, 'The road less travelled" you will be in my heart.
