Dear Audrey ,RIP now after a very long hard working happy life and some health problems to cope with too. After casually knowing you for many years as we interacted in many local community events and organizations . I really got to know you after I retired from teaching and joined your "Write Easy" group of folk held every Friday afternoon at the library which I enjoyed immensely. Not only did you help us all gain skills and confidence ln both writing and reading to our group our written stories and then you even published our book of stories in 2013.You also shared so much of yourself and past life and history with us all. It was such a pleasure to a listen learn and build build a close friendship with you , Always fondly remembered Lynda Mathews.

A most beloved Headmistress at Upper Hutt College. I only joined the school for my final college year, and felt out of place. Miss Harper was friendly and welcoming, and did much to make me feel at ease. She was an enthuisiastic member of the school choir, and I remember one memorial Soiree held at John Hendren's place, for senior music students and staff that was great fun, and she entered in the spirit of the occasion. RIP Miss Harper
