SMITH, Athol:
On September 5, 2017, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital after a short illness. Dearly loved son of the late Reginald and Catherine Smith, loved brother of the late Jeanette Margaret Smith, and loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Margaret Kennedy, his extended family David, Margaret, Brian, Daniel, Michael, and Jessica, missed by his NZ Care Team Gail, Ryan, Priya, Jullius, Graeme, Sandeep, Tyrone, Sunny, and the NZ Care Group. A celebration of Athol's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, on Monday, September 11, at 10.00am. Interment to follow at Ruru Lawn Cemetery, Ruru Road.
