BARNES, Ashley Edwin - On April 27, 2014, peacefully at home, aged 59 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Raylene, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Anita and Daniel, Corey and Jackie, loved Gandy of Makayla, Casey, and Jaden; Levi, Alicia, Jordan, and Karlos. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Brenda and Jim, Garry and Sarah, and Jeanne and Ian, and a loved uncle. Sadly missed by his loving dog Precious.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated, and may be made at the service. A Service to celebrate Ashley's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Tomorrow (Friday), at 10.00am

Dear Ashley, by all cherished accounts from your sister Jeanne, you were an incredible brother to her and your other siblings, a loving father to your children, and a great uncle.. You will ALWAYS be not far from their thoughts and always in their hearts..and your doggie Precious. God tells us that All life on earth is a cycle of life and death. But the only alternative to dying would be never to have been born...And I think that would have been a great pity. [Don't you?!].
Ashley, you are pain free now, and your family and friends were very blessed for having you. Be at peace now dear man. Xo
