To Margaret and family.
Arthur was a long time firend and work colleague at Hays with my late father Ron. Dad had a huge amount of time and respect for Arthur.I too had enormous respect for such a kind and real gentlemen. As a youngster I remember Arthur working on the parade and running alongside a float at the start doing some last minute stapling.I also have fond memories working for Arthur in the display team during the school holidays with highlights such as cleaning up the farm playground on the roof.I was always in awe of his fantastic skills with design and the memorable window displays, shop displays and fashion parades. He really was a quite remarkable and talented person not always credited on his work as much as he should have.I cannot make the funeral as I am out of town so please accept this memory from me. God Bless Bruce and Elizabeth Gordon, the late Ron Gordon
