O'KANE,
Rev. Brother Arthur: CFC
On July 17, 2017, at Nazareth House in Christchurch, aged 87 years. Arthur was a much loved member of the Christian Brothers' Religious Congregation, and a much loved member of the Brothers' community of Wharenui Road, Christchurch. Arthur was the second son of the late John Dominic and Rutea Marie O'Kane of Dunedin. A brother of the late Jack, Rob (Blenheim) and Marie (Montreal), and a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his many dear friends and family, particularly his nieces and nephews - Bill, Claire, Helen, Catherine and Hannah. The wider O'Kane family and the Christian Brothers wish to thank all the staff at Nazareth House for their devoted care of Arthur.
May he rest in peace.

Brother O'Kane was a very special part of our family since we met him at Otahuna, when we lived at Tai Tapu. We are so blessed to have been able to keep in touch with him over the years. Our late Mum and Dad held him in the highest regard as we do too. May he rest in peace. Jo-Ann, Mary & Kerry, Lockie & Tanya, Scott & Shannon.
