Dearly loved husband and companion of Janet for over 60 years. Loved father of Simon, and Amanda, father-in-law of Ben Wilson, and grandfather of Louis, and Bess. Brother of Marilyn, and Max (both deceased), Peter, Pam, and James. Brother-in-law of William, and the late Alison Taylor. Uncle of Louise, Sarah, Jacqueline, and Annette. Son of the late James de Lacy Young Dorset and Mavis Hannah Weigel. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Arthur Dorset, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In keeping with Arthur's wishes, a private family gathering and cremation has been held.

He was a very good Dentist made my false teeth for me when I was 17 I am now 70 and have only just replaced them.When I rang him to see if he was still working he laughed and said you should have had three sets in that time. He said I must have made them to good. Rest in peace my dear friend we don´t have dentists as good as you were now. What a great age to live too you will be missed by many people.

To Janet, Simon and Amanda
So many memories of a child going to see Arthur in the AMP building in the sqare and how kind he was when he took my wisdom teeth out. One of my Dads oldest friends from their Dunedin days. Dad thought so much of him he really did.
