April DAVEY Obituary

On August 23, 2024, peacefully at Woodcote Retirement Village, surrounded by her loving family, aged 84 years. Is now at rest with her husband Graeme (married for nearly 60 years). Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Bruce, Paul and Pip, and Craig. Loved sister of Basil and sister-in-law of Robin. Adored Nan of Jono and Anita, Jo and Leon, Jimmy and Amy, Rosie and Mitch, Randal (Baz) and Serena, Michael, Aidan and Jacoba, Faye and Max. Much loved Great-Nan of Ella, Tegan, Latesha, Isla, Bridget and Connor, Tayven, Nevourah and Liam, Arlo, Soren and Ruby, Mia, Bonnie and Spencer, and Callum. Loved by all her nieces and nephews.

April devoted her life to caring for and loving her family, adoring her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, giving the gift of time. Her sense of humour, generosity, laugh and stories will be remembered forever and sadly missed. A celebration of April's life will be held at The John Rhind Christchurch Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
