RODGERS, Anthony (Tony):

It is with great sadness and loss we announce our loving husband, father and grandad slipped away peacefully at home. We are extraordinarily proud of the courageous battle our dear Ton fought. Heartfelt thanks must be paid to Dr Rob Allison, Wendy Mann and the team at the E and T and plastic surgery departments, Dr Ian Ward and his wonderful team at radiation, special thanks to the amazing staff of Gail and her team at Ward 11, all of Christchurch Hospital. Eternal gratitude always for the most incredible care provided by Doctors, Ian Henderson and Suzanne Knapp and the sensational staff of the Akaroa Health Centre. We can't thank you enough. You are all amazing. We are truly grateful.
