To Janette, Jordon, Chris & Brenda,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all, in your time of sorrow, with the loss of Tony. I will always remember him as a jolly, caring, and loveable man. His main devotion was to the family, but always had time for his friends. My love, thoughts, and sincere condolences goes out to each and every one of you!

I leave you with this verse which I think is true of Tony.

THE LAST FAREWELL

Dear Friends I go, but do not weep,
I've lived my life, so full and deep.
Throughout my life, I gave my best,
I earned my keep, I've earned my rest.
I never tried to be, great or grand,
I've tried to give, a helping hand.
If I helped in a team, if I helped on my own,
I was more than repaid,
By good friends I have known.
And if I went the extra mile,
I did it with pleasure, it was all worthwhile.
If I brightened your path, then let it be,
A small contribution, from my loved one and me.
Now sadly I leave you, and travel alone,
Through the mystic veil, to the great unknown.
With such beautiful memories, that will forever be,
The way I hope, you'll remember me.

My heart goes out to you all at this time - never easy to say goodbye to one that is so loved, a wonderful mate, and father. Janette, Jorden, Christopher and Brenda - you will have some lovely memories and Tony's smile always lit up a room. I recall how you both hosted my surprise 40th birthday - opened your home in your usual hospitable style, and made the day so special for me. I've posted the photo of Les' 60th birthday, where Debbie and Becky are sitting with Tony - a wonderful friend, who will be sadly missed. But the consolation is that we know we will meet again, and he's reunited with those who have gone before. May God comfort you and bless you as you cope in the days ahead and learn to adjust without that special, special, lovable Tony. xoxoxo

Tony will be sorely missed - have some great memories of the Kerikeri days, and the wonderful love and caring extended to Les, our girls and me. You always had a smile, you always could get a smile from everyone you interacted with. Tunnel houses, capsicums, my 40th birthday, having our girls stay over - memories, memories, memories. Then also your hospitality when we visited you in Rangiora. Janette my heart goes out to you - losing a mate is so hard, Jorden and Chris, losing a father is also hard - but you have the strength in yourselves to weather this storm with your hand in the Hand of the One who oversees all. Love and hugs, Cecilie
