HANDISIDES,
Anthony Claude (Tony) :
Formerly of 49/50 Matipo Street, Riccarton passed away peacefully on Thursday January 17, 2019 (Brisbane, Australia) after a brave battle with brain cancer. Much loved husband of Maria, and beloved father of Shaun, Lorraine, Nora and Caroline, together with Hans, Sam and Amanda. Much loved grandfather to Jack, Justin, Sylvie, William, Jed, Coco, Billy, Boh and Joe. Loved son of the late Claude and Nora Handisides, loved brother and brother-in-law to Kevin (dec) and Maureen, Paul (dec) and Margaret, Barry (dec) and Trish and the late Margaret, twin brother Graeme and Maree and Moira and Neville Austin. Much loved uncle to many special nieces and nephews and beloved cousin and friend. Requiem Mass will be held for Tony at the BallyCara Retirement Village Chapel, Scarborough, (Brisbane) on Monday January 21, 2019 at 11a.m. All messages of condolence can be forwarded to 85 McLennan St, Woody Point 4019, Brisbane. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Johanson, the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Redcliffe Palliative Care Unit, and Hibernian Villa, Ballycara, Scarborough.A fond farewell to the special friendships that Tony cherished through his association with Famous Five of Riccarton, St Bede's College, Christchurch City Council and especially the School and Parish of St Therese of Lisieux, Riccarton.

Dear Uncle Tony, am sad your time here has come to an end, but know you will live on in the hearts and minds of all of us, especially your children and grandchildren - a life superbly lived - RIP.
