Anthony DOHERTY Obituary

With a heavy heart we announce on April 28, 2025, the end of his innings with a top score of 72. He has taken his last catch and retired from the crease. Dearly loved husband and Kemosabe of Meg (née Moynihan), proud father of Blake and Jaden, respected brother of Steve and brother-in-law to Wendy, the fun uncle to 11 nieces and nephews, cousin and teammate. Tony will also be remembered as a devoted friend to many. Tony's farewell will be held at St Gregory's Church, 26 Cotswold Ave, on Saturday, May 3, at 1.00pm, followed by an "after match" function at the Riccarton Cricket Club, 57 Riccarton Ave. Bring your stories of Tony's escapades to share.
