Dear Ann and family,
Sincere condolences for your loss. We grew up as neighbors on Moncks Spur and remember Tony fondly. We had the opportunity to catch up again when our sons attended Burnside High School. He was a great guy. I feel very sad for your loss. Please pass our condolences to Rosie.

Anne and family, and Rosey too - our hearts go out to you all. Gail knew Rosey from Redcliffs Primary school and we both knew Tony from University days, enjoying his company a lot. He was a good friend. We have not kept in touch, spending most of our years overseas, and that has been our loss. Our hearts go out to you in the difficult times ahead.
Regards, John and Gail (nee Partington) Armon

Sincere condolences to Tony's family. I first met Tony when we worked together at the Malt Works during Varsity holidays and well remember sharing a beer or three at the Valley inn after work. A top bloke......will be sadly missed.

Dear Anne and Family - Please accept our sincere and heartfelt sympathy as we hear incredulously of Tony's passing. As a close 'varsity buddy we had some great times together and fondly remember the little guy with the curly hair and effervescent humour. Liz, as a Redcliffs girl, knew Tony and Rosey at school and again in those uni' years. We loved your wedding and as teachers who dispersed to other regions we only reacquainted in passing but we know you are a loving family and surely warm grandparents as well.
Adieu Tony, you were a true friend and I (Russ) know you were a respected and loved teacher. That you have been taken too soon is hard to accept but may you rest in peace and quiet satisfaction for a life and partnership well lived. Love Liz & Russ.

I'm still in shock at your departure as we haven't been in touch in recent years. I valued your friendship and we had some great times back in the day at varsity and of course in Aussie. As coalminers at Corrimal, as boarders at Waldrons' in Wollongong, as backpackers hitch hiking around southern Australia and Tasmania and up to Queensland. You were my bestman at my wedding back in 1969 and although our paths separated on entering teaching we always kept in touch at Xmas. I always felt we would see more of each other in our retirement but like many best plans this one was not executed in time to my regret. Rest in peace my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you Anne and your family.
