Anthony CLARE Obituary

After a hard fought, courageous battle, in Lani's arms at Timaru Hospital on August 4, 2024; aged 55 years. Darling husband and soulmate of Lani. Much loved and respected stepdad to Chloe and Glenn Fountain and adored Poppa to Greer, and Xavier. Loved son and stepson of Ian and the late Kaz and loved son of Kerry. Father of Mikayla and much loved brother, and brother-in-law. Until recently Craig was a serving detective in the Ashburton CIB and a serving member of NZ Police for over 30 years in Auckland, Christchurch and Ashburton. He was a hard working, well respected member of Canterbury CIB and his loss will be felt throughout the district. Big thanks to Doctor Malcolm Wootton and the nurses at South Canterbury Hospice for all your love, support and care with Craig. Messages to: The Clare family, c/- PO Box 6035, Ashburton 7742. Donations to Hospice South Canterbury would be appreciated and can be made at the service. A service to celebrate Craig's life will be held at Trott's Garden, 371 Racecourse Road, Ashburton on Friday, August 9, 2024, commencing at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.
