Anona BAKER Obituary

BAKER, Anona Joie (Nonie)
(nee Buckett):
On November 28, 2016, at Christchurch Hospital aged 99 years. Much loved wife of the late Claude, loved daughter of Charles and Janet Buckett, and loving sister of Ethne (Net). Principal Bucketts Gym, Ex Supervisor D.P.C NZ Railways, Life member Friends at Court. At Nonie's request a private burial has been held at the Ruru Lawn Cemetery, next to her beloved Claude. Nonie sends much love to friends, ex pupils and workmates, Nonie says
"It has been a great adventure"

Noni was a very intelligent, kind-hearted woman who lived an extraordinary life. It was a pleasure to care for her two years ago, and I wish I could have been in New Zealand to say goodbye. I will never forget Noni.

Such a loss, Noni has many memories that are to be remembered and she touched so many people in so many different ways. She is correct it has been an amazing journey that provided so much for so many.
