On Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Village Palms Retirement Village, Christchurch, in her 101st year. Dearly loved wife of the late Dick, loved mother of Lesley and Ron Newsome, loved grandmother of Lee-Anne (Sydney), Juanita, Christina, Julia, Ritchie, and Airdrie (Invercargill), and loved great-grandmother of all her great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donation would be appreciated and can be made to the Leukaemia Foundation by following the link bit.ly/amritchie2909 A celebration of Myrtle's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London and Whitmore Streets, on Friday, October 7, at 1.00pm. A beautiful Loving soul.
To me she was always the Exception to the saying, " Only the good die young".
She was in her 101 year of life when her family lost her.
I will always treasure my memories of the years my Hubby shared his beautiful Nana with me. I feel blessed to be part of her family.
