Annette WHALL Obituary

On November 4, 2025, peacefully at The Village Palms, aged 85 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Ethel and Stanley Barker, sister and sister-in-law of Raymond (deceased) and Daphne, Maxine and Tub Yeates (deceased), mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Marcelle, Nicki (deceased) and Craig Ball, Karyn, Richard and Karyn, devoted grandmother of Gabrielle, Oliver, Jayden, Kieran, Neihana, Tremain, Brodie, and a great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren. Annette also dedicated her life and service to the Order of St John, volunteering and working in the community, as an ambulance officer, and a tutor, training and mentoring many others in the delivery and provision of First Aid during her 70 years of service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Annette to the Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made online at fundraise.bcf.org.nz/donate. A celebration of Annette's life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Wednesday, November 12, at 2.00pm.
