Annette Doreen (neé Dasler):
On May 1, 2017, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Loved partner and soulmate of the late Michael Page, loved daughter of the late Jim and Doreen Dasler, treasured sister and sister-in-law of Cilla and Gordon, Jacqui and Geoff Grant, Barbara (twin) and Paul, Jim and Cathy, Janna and Grant; Bill and Leonie, Peter and Donna, much loved by her many nieces and nephews, and dear friend of Kevin. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Annette Thompson, c/- PO Box 88, Hanmer Springs 7360. The Service to celebrate Annette's life will be held at her home, 8 Amuri Avenue, Hanmer Springs, on Friday, May 5, at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the Hanmer Springs Cemetery.

A loss is a loss, but it feels worse when it evokes memories of an earlier time.
A time of youth, innocence and dreams.

Many years ago I knew the Dasler family in Seddon.

I last met Annette early 80's when on a holiday in NZ.
My son and I stayed at her motel in Hanmer Springs.
I recall she had become a beautiful lady and it appeared her dreams had come true.

It is not right when those younger and with a lot more to give than ourselves leave us and it is with sadness I read that Annette had passed away.

My thoughts are with the family.

Remember always, because with the memories she lives.
