Anne PLANK Obituary
(nee Craigie):
Passed away at Hibiscus Coast Hospice on Sunday, April 11, 2021 after a full and wonderful life, with loving family by her side. Dearly loved wife of the late Rod. Loved and cherished mother of David, Rachel, Megan and mother-in-law to Leearna, Neil and Steve. Much loved Nana to Sam, Charlie, Stella, Josh, Connor, Mackenzie and Baxter. Anne was a dear friend and aunty to many and she will be forever in our hearts. A celebration of Anne's life will be held at the Chapel of the North Shore Memorial Park, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Harbour Hospice would be much appreciated.

Our sincere condolences to Anne's family. We are sorry that we are unable to attend the funeral. We have many happy memories of their time at Sumner, especially the New Year's eve parties attended by so many Lincoln College friends. Organising the 50th. VFM reunion, held in Christchurch, with a dinner at the Crowne Plaza and a lunch and tour of Lincoln University was a highlight of our involvement with Anne and Rod. To David, Rachel, Megan and families, so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mum. She was a much cherished friend of our late mother in which they spent many years socialising at each other's homes in Sumner. I have fond memories of our regular Friday Fish and Chip nights followed by spotlight at your house on The Esplanade while our parents partied on upstairs. Thinking of all at this sad time.

Sad to see your Mother's death notice in today's Press. She was such a lively person and we always enjoyed her company at Lincoln College/University occasions.
