We stayed in Anne´s house in Okarito many times, often when she was away visiting family and friends in Wellington over Xmas. She enjoyed keeping in touch via Facebook and we just missed an opportunity to reconnect during one of my visits to DOC´s HQ a few years ago. Had kept in touch lately via Okarito friends though. Just heard yesterday about her passing. A sad year for that little community after the passing in early 2022 of her good friend Kerri. RIP Anne and sincere condolences to the family from the Gerbeaux.

I met Anne (over the phone) and stayed with her in Okarito, where she organised the performance of my solo play in Donavan's Store. It was one of the special experiences of my early touring career - Anne's enthusiasm for and support of my work and her wonderful hospitality - having my helper and me to stay. We stayed in touch for several years after that and I will remember her with much fondness.

She was a wonderful teacher, I was Senior Psychologist at Wellington Psych. Unit in the early 80s. My great sympathy for the family,

Anne was appointed to a position of associate professor in the Wellington School Of Medicine of OU at a time when senior female academics were an uncommon group. She proved to be a major contributor as a researcher, teacher and generally wise influence on all those around her. We were privileged to have known her and worked with her.

My thoughts are with Anne's family. I enjoyed working with her over several years at the various DHBs in the Wellington area.
