Passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in Auckland, surrounded by family. Loved wife of the late Henk Fekkes. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Ingrid and Alan, Fiona and Adrian, Jacqui and Peter. Cherished Oma of Tania, James, Chris, Ben, Scott, Shannon, and Dylan. Oma Beppe of Jayden, Lucas, Charlie, Lochie, Belle, and Jade. An intimate family service will be held at Purewa All Souls Chapel, on January 8, at 1.00pm, livestream link is available here: https://tinyurl.com/47bwyp45 A remembrance service will be held in Christchurch at a later date, details to follow.

A real lady who positively lived a life of fun and excitement. I first met Anna when playing cards at the Dutch Centre on Marshlands Road, ChCh. It was only for a short time, and when Henk first had his stroke. Anna wanted to know how to get Henk into a car so that they could travel somewhere in the ChCh area, to give him a hope filled outlook - I had the pleasure of assisting her with this. What a couple!!!. Anna told me that the decision they made to come to NZ was one of the best decisions they made.

Sending my condolences to Anna´s family. I worked with Anna in the early 90´s at Seddons. She was an absolutely delightful lady who adored Henk, her girls and her grandchildren, always speaking of them with so much love. A beautiful lady with a twinkle in her eye who I am sure will be sadly missed.

my deepest sympathy to you all, I worked with Anna for many years at Seddons Shoe Store in Bishopdale. We had lot of fun & laughs. There are a lot of happy memories.
