Ann HENRY Obituary

HENRY, Ann Celia:
Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2017, at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village, aged 101 years. Loving and devoted wife of the late Allen, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Brian and Ellanor (Waikanae), Graham and Raewyn (Auckland) and Carol and Trevor Kempton (Dunedin). Special and cherished Nana of Chris and Kelly, Mike and Tash and Rob, Matthew and Marie, Catherine and Hamish Read and Andrew and Vicki, Jenny and Will Searle, David and Sam Kempton, and Sophie, and great-Nana of her 8 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Margaret Stoddart and Ngaio Marsh for their loving care and support of Ann. At Ann's request a private cremation has been held. A memorial and celebration of Ann's life will be held at the Palmer Chapel, 150 Harewood Rd, Christchurch, on Wednesday, July 26, at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated or may be left at the service. Messages may be sent care of the Henry family to PO Box 5659, Christchurch 8542.
