BAYCROFT,
Ann Catherine Marie:
Passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital, on Monday, October 12, 2015, surrounded with love by her family. Devoted daughter of Alexander and Catherine MacDonald, loved sister of Gregory and Alexander all pre-deceased (Canada). Loved and loving mother of Joseph, Mary and Patricia. Adored grandmother of Grace, Noah and Sunny, Ayla, Jojo and Eden. Most precious great-grandmother of Charlie Hinto . Respected former wife of Charles. Friend and mentor to many. Specially loved friend of Pat, Els and Louk, Kasiki, Lana, Dale, Marie, Andrea and Mark also her beautiful Filipino family. Loved mother-in-law of Jeremy Ford and "Nan" to Chris Hinton and Stan Howcroft. Ann wanted to especially thank the following who supported and cared for her toward the end of her fantastic adventure, Brendan Anderson, Mark Cohen, Julia Holyoakes, staff of ward 26 at Christchurch Hospital, Nurse Maude Hospice and Corkhill ward staff (especially Jill, Lyn, Sarah and Lana) and volunteers/allied health, Nurse Maude community nurses (special mention to Suzi and Angela McCormack). Ann was so grateful to have met and worked with so many amazing people and patients throughout her 50 year nursing career. She inspired, supported and mentored so many and had a great impact on the lives and passing of many. The family has held a private funeral as per Ann's wishes.
If you would like honour Ann in some way, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated.

Dear Mary and all your beautiful family. Although it was tough saying farewell, for Ann it was no doubt a relief to be on her way. Her and Charlie created a great family and that is her legacy for all of us to share. Thank you. xoxox Take care everyone. For me, death is about the gaping hole that person leaves in loved ones' hearts so take care all and my warmest wishes and love are with you. Sincerely, Maria Cunningham and family
