Anita MOYNIHAN-STOCKS Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital after a short illness on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, aged 91 years. Loved daughter of the late Matthew and Gladys Moynihan. Former wife of the late Ray Stocks. Dearly loved mother of John, the late Gerard, the late Kathryn, Genevieve and "Porp". Dearly loved grandmother of Christian, Charlotte and Jackson. Sister of the late Mary Satherley, Jack Moynihan, Ursula O'Reilly, and Matthew Moynihan. Loved aunt of her many nephews and nieces. The family express their appreciation to the staff of Avon Life Care and Ultimate Care Bishop Selwyn rest homes for their care of Anita. A requiem mass for Anita will be held in St Gregory's Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1.00pm, followed by refreshments and a get together at the church. A private cremation will follow.
