Angela SHIER Obituary
In the loving care of her family, on June 16, 2022, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife for 55 years of Ellis, cherished mum of Nicola (Nick) and Kate, and respected mother-in-law of Peter, and Wyn. Treasured granny of Lucy. A loved sister of Margaret (Mick) and sister-in-law of the late Murray. A special friend of Lulu Puff. A heartfelt thanks goes to the wonderful community at Summerset on Cavendish for their care of Angela. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Angela Shier, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Celebration of Angela's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Friday, June 24, at 10.00am. Private cremation follows.

Angela and I were school friends in primary and high schools and remained in touch all our lives, although I have lived in Australia since 1964. I remember visiting them in their lovely villa after the earthquake, when much of her china was broken. We used to take a scenic drive over to Lyttelton.
