He trained many exceptional scientists in New Zealand and Worldwide. I was lucky to have him as a mentor and tutor, a good friend. We will sorely miss him. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Deepest Sympathy to Andrew's Family, just a short word recognising his successful efforts in encouraging the use of Computed Tomography in sheep and deer for various measurements including genetic improvement. NZ now has 3 facilities with continuous use of the technology for over 30 years. This has resulted in a marked improvement in the NZ sheep population.
